this is the first batch of gladness songs that I really liked. it was impossible to make a definitive "best of" and a box set of all the songs would be too pricey for me. maybe in the future someone will help me with that. for now this is what is happening. these songs where all recorded in seattle wA (Ballard actually) in a cold dank basement, on the same 12 string I borrowed from a friend (jann) onto a Yamaha mt4x 4-track. dove was hanging around and played some drums. we where 26 and had just moved from San Jose. Seattle was a lot of fun, at least for the first 5 years. I had no amp, no mics except an old 57 type mic that we thought Brian Wilson had recorded his vocals with. it has no bottom end but it sounded great capturing drums coming of the concrete. I miss that shit
anyways, I hope you like it

beautiful and almost sultry. perfect background music but also for putting on your headphones, closing your eyes, listening to the lyrics and pretty instruments, and just catching a vibeeeee. love this band. elizabexh
